1. Trial Lesson

Each trial lesson is 1.5 hours long, conducted one-on-one via Microsoft Teams at a rate of $70 per session. Each student is entitled to one trial lesson, no matter how many subjects they are interested in. Worksheets will be prepared and provided for the session.

2. Private Tuition Online

Each private tuition online session is 1.5 hours long, conducted one-on-one via Microsoft Teams at a rate of $90 per session. A meeting link will be shared in the group chat before each lesson, and students can join directly through their laptop browsers — no app installation required. Students should join the session using their given names. For an effective learning experience, students are expected to keep their webcam on (facing themselves) and microphone unmuted to allow for active, two-way communication with the tutor.

3. Payment, Replacement and Cancellation Policy

Tuition fees are payable monthly in advance for all scheduled lessons. If a lesson is missed, the student should arrange a replacement session. If no replacement is possible, the corresponding amount will be credited toward the following month’s fees. Please note that repeated cancellations may result in tuition being discontinued, due to the opportunity cost and scheduling disruptions involved.

4. Tuition Fees

Tuition fees will remain fixed from the time of enrolment until the completion of the O-Levels/SEC, provided lessons continue without interruption. A monthly invoice will be issued to parents, with payment required before lessons commence. Failure to make timely payment may result in the termination of tuition services.

5. Tuition Materials

All tuition materials are carefully prepared and provided to students, with no additional charges. As all materials are original and developed in-house, APEX Tuition Studio strictly prohibits any reproduction, duplication, or distribution of the content in both digital and physical forms.

6. Schoolwork Support

All tuition students have access to schoolwork support daily from 10 am to 9:30 pm. Students are welcome to send any questions—whether from school or tuition—via WhatsApp chat. All queries will be answered with clear explanations, typically within the same day.

7. Student Responsibilities & Course Expectations

To maximise the benefits of each session, students receive a weekly assignment that typically takes 30 to 60 minutes to complete. Students are expected to review the provided class notes before attempting their homework. All assignments must be completed and submitted prior to the next scheduled session.
